Mormon Tabernacle Choir

Tabernacle Choir can be heard twice weekly, except when the choir is on tour. Sunday morning performance at 9:30 (you must be in your seat by 9:15); Thursday evening rehearsal at 8 pm. Tabernacle pipe organ recitals can be heard Monday-Saturday at noon, and Sunday at 2 pm.Concerts last 30 minutes and are free.

Museum of Church History: Three exhibits are on display at the Museum of Church History and Art, SLC. This Place Utah is a Centennial art display on the beauties of Utah; Utah at Statehood: Vintage Photographs of the 1890s includes original photos during the decade when Utah became the 45th state, and A Shared Vision: Lehi's Dream of the Tree of Life is a collection of LDS artists' rendering of this spiritual allegory from the Church's Book of Mormon. There is no museum charge and hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-9pm and weekends & holidays, 10am-7pm. 240-3310, 240-2299

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Office Building: The tallest building in Salt Lake City, 50 E. North Temple (240-2452) is open for year-round tours to the 26th floor Observation Deck.

The Beehive House: 801-240-2672 Official residence of Brigham Young, built in 1854. A monument to courageous people who conquered the desert.
